Seattle tech start-up Picnic have invented a pizza making machine that can produce up to 300 pizzas per hour. The robot, which still requires a little human help to produce the dough base, has grown in popularity since the increased demand for contact-free food. But can AI measure up to a human chef?

German engineering company Festo have created a flock of impressively realistic bionic birds that are able to follow pre-programmed flight paths for around seven minutes. They don’t have any commercial use yet, but they’re highly impressive, with ultra-lightweight artificial feathers and an internal radio system that helps them navigate.
