🍺 Man Recreates Local Pub For Friends
If you’ve missed your local since lockdown started, you’re not alone. Tristian Cross has created an impressive VR replica of his favourite haunt, which took him two and a half weeks to create using tutorials from YouTube. The simulation even allows drinkers to lift a VR pint and ‘drink’ from it, although Tristan added, “the beer won’t go down… yet.”
💥 AR App Sodar Helps With Social Distancing
This week Google have released the AR-based tool Sodar, which is amongst the latest in a series of digital distancing innovations. The tool uses the phone camera to project a 2 metre boundary ahead of the user to indicate their social distancing limits.

The Vivo X50 series of phones has launched in China this week, with the Vivo X50, X50 Pro and X50 Plus models. It’s expected to hit international markets later this year.
